The weekend is upon us, and we have a couple neat things planned. Saturday morning we are planning on heading downtown to check out the new Whole Foods “Landmark” store, which just opened yesterday<\/a>. I saw a little bit of it on the local morning news show, and it looks awesome! It’s actually right across the street from the old Whole Foods store. I’ll post some pics later. Whole Foods has another store in North Austin, which we go to often, in fact it’s right on my way home, so I stop there to pick up groceries sometimes. They are actually moving to a new, bigger location in North Austin, although the site has not been made public yet, at least I haven’t found out where it will be. (if you know, please let me know!)<\/p>\n

After the morning supermarket expedition, Bay and I will be going to the Dell Diamond in Round Rock to see some college baseball in the Round Rock College Classic<\/a>. Rain is in the forecast, but hopefully it will hold off until the afternoon or evening. Bay has never been to a real stadium before, so it should be cool. The Dell Diamond is a really nice stadium, just like a major league ballpark, but on a smaller scale. The home team is the Round Rock Express<\/a>, a Triple-A farm team for the Houston Astros. Later in the year, I want to go see the Dodger Triple-A team, the Las Vegas 51’s<\/a>, when they come to town.<\/p>\n

Sunday, we have no plans, but I’m sure something will come up. Hopefully it will be a big cooking day, with all the loot we score from Whole Foods on Saturday. I guess I should start looking for some nice recipes to try. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
