Today as I was driving back to work from my lunch break, somebody pulled out into my lane. I was going about 40mph, and she came into my lane from a standstill. A total bummer… She is a nice old lady too. Now I have to deal with getting the car fixed.
It’s started! I am so happy that the MLB season is underway. Unfortunately, the Dodgers don’t look so hot this year. But still, it’s good to be able to play Fantasy Baseball again, and follow the teams. Hopefully I can make it down to Houston later to see the Dodgers when the come to town. The stadium down there is supposed to be awesome.

We went to the Oasis (Austin) for lunch. This mediocre burger cost $9.74. The plain burger and fries was $8.99, and the spoonful of guacamole cost $.75. As everyone says, “The food at Oasis is not great, but the view is awesome.” Very true.
Some of the strawberries Mariko and Bay harvested at Sweet Berry Farm, Marble Falls. A full box of strawberries costs about $13. We got $6 worth of berries, and Mariko and Bay made chocolate-covered strawberries for dessert.
We went to go harvest strawberries in Marble Falls today. The weather was perfect, sunny and about 70°F. In this photo, Bay and Mariko debate whether or not this strawberry is a keeper.

This photo was taken from the parking garage at my work. There were thunderstorms in the forecast, but it didn’t look too bad at around lunchtime.
The start of my drive home saw some clouds gathering.
A little rain (then a lot of rain) on the way home.
