Mariko made a delicious and simple meal last night. Oishikatta!
I have set up my blogging software, pMachine, and Flickr to interact a little better. Now I can post a photo with my Flickr account and it will automatically post a blog entry here at Takoyaki.org. I don’t want to have two sets of comments (one here and one a Flickr), so I am going to turn off comments here, but just for photos that are linked to the Flickr site. If you feel the need to leave a comment for a photo, you can click on the photo and comment away at the Flickr site. The only thing is that you have to have a Flickr account (free). But you should already have one, right?

Bay was drawing while sitting in his car seat. We were waiting in the parking lot at the outlet center in San Marcos.

We went to the San Antonio Zoo and saw plenty of animals. I don’t remember the name of this beast, though.

On the way in to work, I decided to take a picture of the small waterfall at the dog park.

Today for lunch, I met my friend Ryan at a pizza place I hadn’t been to yet. It’s called Saccone’s, and it was great. It’s thin crust, and is super floppy. If you want to eat a slice with one hand, you need to fold it a bit. We ordered a whole pizza (the sizes are either a slice, or a whole pie), half of it was plain cheese, and the other half was with sausage. The crust was very basic, which was excellent because it complimented the sauce and cheese nicely. Thinking about it, there wasn’t anything so special or gimmicky about it; just tangy sauce, tasty cheese, and a nice crust. A little red pepper and parmesan, and it’s perfect. I think this Jersey-style pizza is my favorite.
