Check View

Wells Fargo added in images of the checks you write in their online banking. It's very cool. Before, it would just say "Check #116" for $25.00, and I wouldn't be able to remember what it was for, without breaking out my checkbook. Now I can click on the "View" link next to the check # and see a scanned image of the check. (Just like above, but enlarged and without the mosaic effect) It's very nice! By the way, I hate writing checks... the only checks I write regularly is the water bill to the City of Austin and our Old Navy credit card. I wish they had an online service!

Comments...

rich: Yea, now your worst handwriting can be immortalized electronically. Shouldn't have written all those presidental threats in the memo though...

You should use online bill pay. I do, and now the only time I write checks are for in person stuff where people that don't take credit. Even my equivilent of Nelda gets a online check from me.

MC: Wow, a very good idea. It's interesting to see how the flow of money/transactions is kept track of.

Sluggo: Bank of America has had this feature for at least 3 or 4 years... Only used it a couple of times, but it has been a big help.
