Over the holidays, I read Dan Brown's "The Davinci Code". It really kept my attention. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. Usually, if I read while in bed, I am dozing off within a few minutes. But this book kept me up late a few nights. Now I am reading (an almost near the end) of one of his other books, "Angels & Demons". It's even better than "The Davinci Code"! On Saturday, I was up until 4am reading it, and last night (this morning), I was up until 4am again! The amount of research that Dan Brown has done is incredible, and the questions raised between Science/Religion are very interesting. I can imagine that the historical sites in Rome, Paris, and London where the stories took place are popular tourist attractions these days. I highly recommend these books! Edit 1/20: I finished "Angels & Demons" last night, and I am so glad I did. On NPR's Morning Edition today, there was a story about landmarks featured in his books, and during the story, some plot secrets were revealed. The last plot secret is revealed right at the end, and I read it last night. I would have been pissed if I learned that last secret over NPR just before I read it in the novel! I guess I got lucky on the timing. At any rate, this book is riveting all the way through! Comments...
