Top 10 Fast-Food Burgers
Posted at 9:37 am by Barron | Eating

Continuing with my theme for this week, here are my top ten fast food chains, as far as burgers are concerned. And note that I have only lived in So. Cal and Central Texas, with a few years in Japan.

1. In-n-Out (Double Double)
2. Fatburger (Egg Burger)
3. Carl's Jr. (Famous Star w/ Cheese)
4. Sonic Drive-in (Supersonic Jalapeño Cheeseburger)
5. Wendy's (Classic Double w/ Cheese)
6. Burger King (Texas Burger)
7. Whataburger
8. Jack in the Box
9. Dairy Queen (Belt-Buster)
10. McDonald's (Big Mac)

Honorable mention goes to Mos Burger (Japan and Hawaii) for their yummy burgers and dogs, including the rare "Nan-curry Dog". Mmmmm....

Comments...

Erik: Is the BK Texas Burger basically a Whopper with perhaps some special sauce? (We don't get the Texas Burger here, obviously.)

Barron: It's a double whopper with bacon, cheese, and jalapeños. Delicious.

And Sonic is nice because they have tater tots in addition to fries or onion rings. Plus they also have sandwiches that use "Texas Toast" which is basically extra-thick-cut toast.

Naladahc: I miss Wendy's from the late 70s and early 80s before they became national. They burgers were so much better and the fries where really huge and came in a paper boat instead of the current standard frech frie holder thingy.

 Mikey: You're the devil!

But I agree with your #1 choice, except it's gotta be Animal Style!

rich: oh, man I miss In-n-Out... Never had a Fatburger. I guess you can't sue them when you get fat, it says it right there on the bag.
